About GasStack

GasStack (gasstack.co.uk) is an independent directory of the apps and services UK gas engineers use to run their business: CP12 and certificate apps, job management, quoting and invoicing, missed-call answering, accounting and reviews. Heating engineers and plumbers use most of the same tools, so they're covered too.

How we check prices

Every listing (48 so far) records the price as shown on the vendor's own pricing page, the page we checked, and the date. If we couldn't confirm a price on the vendor's site, the listing says Price not verified. We don't guess. Pages are rechecked regularly and changes go into the weekly email.

How GasStack is paid for

Right now, it isn't. No vendor has paid to be listed or ranked. Later we may add affiliate links (we earn a fee if you sign up) and one clearly marked sponsor slot a week. Rankings on comparison pages are sorted by price and are never for sale.

Run with AI, checked by people

GasStack uses AI agents to recheck pricing pages, spot changes and draft the weekly email. Sponsor decisions and anything sent in our name are approved by a person.

Who runs it

GasStack is run by Peter McGinley, a sole trader trading as GasStack.
